Sadly, we sold the Garden Isle Oasis in 2020. When the COVID19 Pandemic shut down short-term rentals in Hawai’i (defined as anything under six months), and air travel came to a screeching halt, the complications of owning a home 2,700 miles away from our own became undeniable. For want of something a bit more stable, and closer to home, we gave up our dreams of someday retiring on Kauai and sold our Garden Isle Oasis.

The children have years of wonderful memories here that we will always treasure. The transformation between the dated and mildewed home that we bought and the updated stunner that we sold will never cease to amaze me. This was our first true labor of love, and taught me how much I loved decorating, and how much I could do from an ocean away.
